The 21st Annual Image Awards Celebration of Achievement and Leadership Set for Feb. 5

The Ferris State University student organization Black Leaders Aspiring for Critical Knowledge will welcome students, faculty, staff and the community to the University Center, Room 202, on Friday, Feb. 5 for the 2016 Image Awards.

“The 21st annual Image Awards, hosted by B.L.A.C.K., is an event to highlight the achievements and leadership of minority students, faculty and staff at Ferris State University,” said Michael Wade, assistant director of the Office of Multicultural Student Services.

Formal attire is encouraged as the event features opportunities to participate in a “best dressed” competition for prizes.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the event begins at 7 p.m. The Image Awards is free and is open to the public. The annual event is funded by student activity fees as allocated by the Finance Division of Student Government.
