Ferris State University News Services and Social Media will host the SocialFest Snapchat Challenge. This challenge is open to all Ferris students who want to showcase their Ferris pride, during Bulldog Beginnings, at locations inside of the University Center. Grand prize packages will be awarded to three winners (A Ferris pullover, drawstring backpack, a #FERR1S Yowie and Bulldog T-shirt). Additionally, seven winners will receive a Bulldog T-shirt and #FERR1S Yowie. Winners will be selected by a panel of judges. Winners will be notified by email.
To enter, we ask that you:
- Show your Ferris pride T-shirt in the snap;
- Take a cool photo of yourself wearing Ferris apparel inside of the University Center. Preference will be given to images taken inside of Quad Café, the bookstore and Starbucks. Images that demonstrate inappropriate or illegal activity will not be discovered; and
- Email a screen capture of your snap entry to [email protected]. All entries should include the following information for ALL individuals prominently
pictured in the snap and appropriately identified, for example, pictured left to right:
- First and last name
- Academic major
- Hometown
- Year in school of the individual or individuals officially submitting the photo
- A caption that describes where the photo was taken, the date it was taken, and what the person is doing at that location.
Please keep in mind, photos submitted may be posted on official Ferris social media accounts in addition to other Ferris publications. Contestants are encouraged to be safe and creative while taking their photos and submit them as early as possible. The deadline for submission is Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2016 by 11:59 p.m.
