On Tuesday, March 25, at its regular meeting, the Student Government Association of Ferris State University approved allocations to co-sponsor FSUbuntu’s Anti-Slavery Art and Music Festival.
Student Government accepts requests for co-sponsorships from registered student organizations on Ferris State University’s campus.
FSUbuntu was allocated $241 for its Anti-Slavery Art and Music Festival on Thursday, April 10 from 7 to 9 p.m. This event will take place at the West Campus Community Center. All donations and proceeds from this event will go to the NO Project, an international anti-slavery campaign.
In other business, Student Government inducted two new members into the general assembly: Corey Saladin, representing Ferris State University cheer and Monica Lee, representing Alpha Xi Delta.
Student Government meets every Tuesday at 6 p.m. in College of Business, Room 211.
