Ferris State University’s Spring 2014 academic semester officially begins as classes start on Monday, Jan. 13.
Following winter break, university offices opened on Thursday, Jan. 2 for faculty and staff to prepare for the return of students to begin the spring semester. In addition to the start of classes on Jan. 13, several other dates are noteworthy for students. Late registration begins Wednesday, Jan. 8 and runs through Friday, Jan. 10. Several other important dates fall on Jan. 10, including: the second spring bill is due, a book advance is direct deposited for eligible students and classes may be dropped due to non-payment.
The add/drop period for student classes begins Monday, Jan. 13 and runs through 5 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 16. Classes may also be dropped on Jan. 16 for non-payment.
Residence halls re-open on Wednesday, Jan. 8 at 8 a.m.
