Monday Feb. 24

7 to 8 p.m., Williams Auditorium – Five Star Speaker: Troy Tissue “Character Does Matter”

The Character Does Matter (CDM) program delivers dynamic and inspiring presentations to emerging leaders across the nation. The Character Does Matter program offers audience members introduction and a brief synopsis of the four pillars of character building traits: courage, integrity, leadership, and service.

Tuesday Feb. 25

11 a.m. to 12 p.m., BUS 219 – Hometown Recruiting Information Session

Hometown recruiters are Ferris students who return to their hometown high schools, career centers and community colleges to be a mentor and help drive recruitment indirectly by sharing their Ferris Experiences and pride with potential students. Applications may be submitted on OrgSync.

8 to 10 p.m., Williams Auditorium – Ferris Has Talent

10 a.m. to 5 p.m., IRC Connector – OMSS: Black History Month Celebration Featured Exhibit – NECESSARY.

Ferris alumnus Khalid el-Hakim, founder of the Black History 101 Mobile Museum, will be on campus to display his exhibit “NECESSARY.” This event is free and open to the public

2 to 5 p.m., FLITE 135 – Naked Presenter

A workshop based on Garr Reynolds’ book titled, The Naked Presenter. The presentation focuses on the other dimension of presentation – the public speaking dimension.

Saturday March 1
