“Pop Goes the Art World” presented by Ferris State University Art Gallery Director, Carrie Weis. This talk scratches the surface of how culture and technology contributes to contemporary art, and those influenced by it.

7 p.m. Five-star event: Lonnie Scott presents “Election Day is Everyday”

Michigan native, Lonnie Scott, presents Election Day is Everyday: The Campaign for Your Future Starts Now.

It seems that every time we turn around a new campaign is starting and everyone claims it is the most important we have ever had. The never-ending campaign cycle coupled with 24-hour media and our addiction to social media makes it impossible to get away from it all.

6 p.m. Second Annual Resident Appreciation Night

Thursday, Feb. 6 at Wink Arena, Housing and Residence Life, in conjunction with Dining Services, is holding its Annual Resident Appreciation Night during the women’s and men’s basketball games. Come out for free T-shirts, color-change cups, door prizes, Twitter contests and a raffle to win a LED TV. Plus, organizers are revealing the Top 10 prize winners for the Early Bird Contracting process at halftime of the games. Bring a friends and cheer the Bulldogs on to victory.

Image Awards is an award show put on each year at Ferris that awards students, faculty and staff for their outstanding work and dedication. The event will be held at Williams Auditorium.
