‘Super Sibs’ is the Theme for this Year’s Sibs and Kids Weekend

Ferris State University students will welcome younger children to campus for a “Super Sibs” themed Sibs and Kids Weekend, starting Friday, Feb. 7.

Students are encouraged to invite their younger relatives to spend the weekend with them in Big Rapids for the annual event.

Cape-making will be the kick-off event at 7 p.m. on Friday in Brophy/McNerney residence halls. Registration will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. at The Rock Café.

Saturday’s events include pictures with Ferris’ mascot Brutus, mask making, and super hero games in Brophy/McNerney lobby from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., shield making and inflatables from 3:30 to 7 p.m. in the Ewigleben Sports Complex Multipurpose Room, and a screening of the film “The Incredibles” at 8:30 p.m. in the Brophy/McNerney lobby.

Registration for each sib/kid is $30. That price includes entry to all activities, meals and a T-shirt for their sibling, while supplies last. Students can register and pay online by visiting https://ebill.ferris.edu/C20079_ustores/web/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCTID=640
