Ferris State University’s Office of Multicultural Student Services, The Office of International Education and the Hispanic/Latino Cultural Center are hosting the Cultural Connections Open House on Friday Aug. 29 from 2 to 5 p.m.
Concurrent open houses will be taking place at the OMSS, in FLITE 159; in OIE, in IRC, room 134; and the CLS, in IRC 131 to encourage visitors to learn about opportunities in each department. Those who attend Cultural Connections will participate in a scavenger hunt and sample authentic food dishes. Students who visit all three locations will have a chance to be entered into giveaways for various prizes.
“Cultural Connections is a great way for students to get involved and figure out where all of the offices are located,” said Jazmine Goode, a student worker in OMSS. “It’s going to be a really fun event and we can’t wait to see some new faces.”
