Ferris State University will host its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Tuesday, April 15. The event will be hosted by University Recreation.
The event begins at 5 p.m. for Ferris students and at 6 p.m. for children. The cost is $5 for Ferris students and $3 for children.
Easter eggs will be scattered across Top Taggart Field for students and Big Rapids children to find. About 6,000 eggs will be hidden and filled with goodies such as candy and gift certificates.
“The Big Rapids community should participate because of the fun and excitement it offers the children. It is also a great way to get the community and Ferris students involved with each other,” said Fernando Labra, coordinator of Intramurals in UREC. “Ferris students should get involved because of the fun, treasure hunt feel, and the opportunity to win gift certificates to local businesses such as The Gate and Ruby Tuesday along with a few larger prizes.”
Ferris students can sign up using their MyFSU account through intramural leagues. Parents can sign their children up at the Student Recreation Center or at the registration table before the hunt.
Registration will close 15 minutes prior to the event.
