Ferris State University students can get acquainted with organizations on campus and what Big Rapids has to offer during Bulldog Bonanza on Wednesday, Sept. 18.
The event, sponsored by the university’s Center for Leadership, Activities and Career Services, will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. in Wink Arena.
Bulldog Bonanza is an opportunity for students to talk with representatives of Big Rapids-area businesses and Ferris service departments. Students also can learn about Ferris’ 200-plus academic, Greek, social, political, faith-based or athletic Registered Student Organizations.
“This event is important because you are able to browse different organizations and see which one interests you,” said Amber Kneibel, assistant director for CLACS.
The free event is a part of the inaugural year of Leadership Week, a new effort to help students develop leadership their leadership skills and get involved on campus (see http://www.ferris.edu/HTMLS/news/archive/2013/september/leadership.htm).
