Ferris State University will host events in conjunction with Veterans Day.
This year's Veterans Day events include a special band concert, a breakfast to recognize and give thanks to veterans and a regular meeting of the Ferris Military Support Group.
West Central Concert Band Veterans Day Concert
The concert is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 10. It will take place in Williams Auditorium on the Big Rapids campus. Sunday's performance will include a special selection that features music from all five branches of service. Veterans, active military personnel and their family members will be invited to stand and be recognized. The Symphony Band, West Central Concert Band, West Central Chamber Orchestra will perform under the direction of Richard Scott Cohen. Cate Arroe directs the Concert Choir.

Veterans Day Breakfast
On Monday, Nov. 11, the University will be hosting a special breakfast to honor military service members on Veterans Day. The breakfast will be held in the Granger Center for Construction and HVACR Atrium, beginning at 8 a.m. This event will recognize and give thanks to veterans for their service. Military Support Group Meeting
