Ferris Helps Fuel Students During Exam Week With ‘Pancakes with the President’

Pancakes with the PresidentFerris State University students are invited to take a break from studying and fuel up for final exams by enjoying “Pancakes with the President.” President David Eisler will be joined by faculty and staff members who will serve students beginning at 10:30 p.m. Monday, May 6 at Westview Dining in the Rankin Student Center.

“This event puts the focus on Ferris students at a time when many of our students are preparing to head home for the summer,” said Eisler, who called it a unique opportunity for him and faculty and staff members to meet and interact with students. “We try to provide a welcoming atmosphere for them during what can be a stressful time.”

The free event, which typically attracts hundreds of students on the first day of finals week during the fall and spring semesters, will be open until 12:30 a.m. All Ferris students are invited to attend, but must show a valid student ID.

The event also will include games and prizes. It is co-sponsored by Student Government and Dining Services.
