Ferris State University is inviting students to “get social” during SocialFest 2013 with a series of events that use social media to connect to campus.
SocialFest, organized the university’s Social Media Team, features free events designed to engage new and returning students through popular social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.
To help promote SocialFest, a video was shot featuring Ferris students Betsy Garbe, a junior from Allegan majoring in Public Relations; Joe Aymor, a senior from Morley majoring in Communication; Anthony Brock, a senior from Detroit majoring in Television and Digital Media Production; and Brittney Buti, a senior from Niles also majoring in Television and Digital Media Production.
The video was shot and edited by News Services video intern Hannah Crouch, a Television and Digital Media Production major from LeRoy.
