Ferris State University Communication students will share their experiences from the Cesar Chavez Social Justice March that took place in Grand Rapids on March 21.
The event takes place on Thursday, April 4 at 11 a.m. in IRC 109. The event is free and open to the public.
Three hundred-level Ferris students from the Communication 366, Diversity and Communication, and Communication 340, Public Advocacy, will join Ferris faculty and staff who participated in the annual Grand Rapids march to honor the late civil rights leader and labor activist who fought to improve working conditions for migrant farm workers and advocated for social justice for Hispanics.
Students who attended the event will share their stories from the march.
