Ferris State University’s Doctorate in Community College Leadership program has launched a blog to complement its website.
DCCLBlog.com includes blogs posted by DCCL students related to research, articles, leadership and other news of interest pertaining to community colleges. The site also offers formal publications produced by students as well as presentations by faculty and students conducted at various conferences.
The blog is designed to showcase the accomplishments of students enrolled in the DCCL program – offered through Ferris’ College of Professional and Technological Studies – including awards, new positions and promotions.
DCCL program assistant Dan Campbell noted that the blog contains news about a student who recently received a Fulbright Specialists award and a faculty member who has published a book.
“We’re excited to continue highlighting students’ achievements as they progress through the program,” Campbell said. “All of our students are high-caliber, and after they graduate we’ll continue to highlight their achievements.”
The blog consists of six sections, including job openings that students can pursue.
