Wagenheim earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Michigan State University in 1992 and a master’s degree in Parks Recreation and Tourism Resources from MSU in 1997. He earned a Ph.D. from the University of Florida in Health and Human Performance in 2006. Wagenheim received an Advanced Studies Certificate-Management Tools and Techniques from Ferris in 2010 and an MBA from Ferris in 2010.
