Tricia Principe has earned a 2012 College of Business Student Excellence Award from
Ferris State University.
Principe, a 2008 graduate of Mattawan High School, is a Graphic Design major at Ferris. The Kalamazoo native was a four-year varsity basketball player for the Bulldogs, served four years as a communications director for the Student Athlete Advisory Committee and will graduate Magna Cum Laude from Ferris’ College of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design.
Students who receive the College of Business Student Excellence Award are selected based on leadership, participation and scholarship in academic and professional student organizations, extracurricular activities, citizenship and service. Award recipients are nominated by a Ferris faculty or staff member and are chosen by the Student Excellence Award Selection Committee.
Principe is the daughter of Mark and Beth Principe of Kalamazoo.
