Ferris State University is in a fun frame of mind as it hosts an Easter egg hunt on
Monday, April 2 at Top Taggart Field.
“For the past seven years, Intramural and Club Sports, in partnership with University Recreation, has hosted this event, and it has been fairly successful,” said Fernando Labra, Ferris’ Intramural and Club Sports coordinator.
This year, the groups are trying something different by hosting the event in the evening rather than in the morning.
“We hope to see an increase in numbers with the time change and because participants are able to register up until the event begins,” Labra said.
Students, faculty and staff are welcome to join the fun as the campus community looks ahead to the mid-semester break.
The cost for the Easter Egg Hunt is $3 and everyone is welcome to attend.
The children’s hunt begins at 6 p.m. and lasts until the adult/student hunt commences at 8 p.m.
“We will have prize giveaways such as gift cards to Meijer, The Gate, hair salons and various eateries around town,” Labra said. “These are all sponsors who wanted to be a part of the Easter Egg Hunt event.”
