Scream Around the World Event to Raise Funds for the United Way

Scream Around the World is a perfect opportunity to enjoy all of the fun that is associated with Halloween and help raise funds for a great cause at the same time.

Ferris State University’s Student Government organization is sponsoring a community event to help celebrate Halloween on Monday, Oct. 31 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the basement of Ward Hall and on the South Campus Quad near the Rock Café.

The event includes a host of fun Halloween activities, including: pumpkin smashing, at a cost of $2; pumpkin carving, for $1 and caramel apples, for a contribution of $1. Event attendees can also pie members of the student organization You Beautiful Black Women, for $1. Funds raised will be donated to the United Way. Additionally, the event features face painting, candy from around the world, bobbing for apples, live music, DJ music and more.

Scream Around the World is sponsored by a number of organizations, including: Student Government, Entertainment Unlimited, Phi Beta Sigma, the International Student Organization, YBBW, the Student Fashion Alliance, the Asian Student Organization, the Black Student Union and Black Leaders Aspiring for Critical Knowledge.
