Ferris State University’s Doctorate in Community College Leadership will be welcoming its second cohort, comprised of the newest doctoral candidates from across the country, to the Big Rapids campus June 3 through June 9.
The gathering is known as “Face to Face Week” for DCCL candidates as part of the Summer 2011 semester.
Ferris’ three-year Ed.D. program is tailored to the meet needs of full-time working adults. Most of the program is delivered online with one weekend meeting for each fall and spring class and the one-week summer face-to-face session.
The DCCL program’s emphasis is practice informed by theory. Issues and problems within the courses are pertinent through the involvement of community college leaders as course developers and instructors.
