Ferris State University senior Jennifer Discher received the College of Business Student Excellence Award April 12.
The annual award is given to students who have achieved academic excellence throughout their college years at Ferris. Discher, who is majoring in Finance major at FSU, is one of the 18 recipients recognized with a grade point average above a 3.5 during the Spring 2011 semester. Currently, Discher has a 3.7 GPA.
“It’s a pretty big honor to accomplish something like this. It’s an honor to be recognized academically against all the other students that are here,” Discher said.
Discher, daughter of Tom and Linda Discher, graduated from Grand Haven High School in 2007.
