BIG RAPIDS – Starbucks fans get ready, a new location will officially open for business on the Ferris State University campus Tuesday, Sept. 2.
Located in the Interdisciplinary Resource Center Connector, the coffee chain will offer caffeine aficionados a variety of coffee and tea beverages, as well as some decaf options for those folks who prefer unleaded fuel to start their day.
Also available will be a variety of snack and beverage options such as baked goods, pre-packaged sandwiches, juice and water. The coffee shop’s hours will be 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday.
“The IRC/College of Business Connector has become a social hub on south campus,” Director of Dining Services Lori Helmer said. “The introduction of a specialty coffeehouse adds to the comfortable atmosphere of the connector, where students come to relax, study and socialize.”
