Need help getting connected?

Although iConnect is over for the year, students can still go to the STS main office. STS regular office location in University Center 108 between 8 am and 5 pm Monday-Friday (except holidays).

STS technicians will help you set up your computer to work on Ferris State networks. You may also purchase optional hardware and software to make the most of your networking experience in the residence halls and in on-campus housing.

  • Remember to bring your power supply if you have a laptop
  • Bring your Ferris ID card (Bulldog Card)
  • If you are bringing a desktop computer, you don't need to bring a monitor

Want to try to connect your equipment yourself?

Steps to get your computer connected:

1. Connect your device physically in your room, or to the wireless network (FSUStudent or FerrisWifi). Please hook up your gaming console via a network cable before trying to register it; it won't work to register via wireless.

2. Register Your Device   --- Have a Gaming Console? Register your computer(s) first.  You may have up to 5 devices registered on the network.

3. If you would like, you can set up your computer to print to the front desk of your residence hall or to a location for the apartments.
