The iConnect software is an automated program. While the software is running it will open and close a series of windows; this is normal and should not be interrupted. It installs many of the components needed to connect to the Ferris network and also uninstalls software that may cause conflicts with our network. Note that one of four antivirus/security software needs to be on your computer to attach to the network -- if the iConnect installer finds a different one, it will uninstall the unsupported one, and install.
The following instructions are for Windows Users only.
Windows XP (Service Pack 3), Vista, and Windows 7
Once completed your system will be ready to connect to the Ferris Network Security. When connected you will be prompted to install our Network Access Control solution, known as Bradford. Bradford runs a series of checks to determine if your system meets the University requirements for access.
