Office 365 Basic Course

This is a custom course in which the following topics will be demonstrated in both the desktop version and web app of Outlook 2013. Each topic that has integration to Office 365 will also be demonstrated wherever applicable.

This is an overview course of new/unique features, including basic email functionality and the features of Outlook 2013, Lync, Office 365, Web apps, and mobile that are unique to the new environment.

*This class will demonstrate uses based on the desktop, mobile and Web app environments.

  • View the Calendar
  • Manage and Create Appointments & Meetings


4) Managing Your Contacts

  • Create and Update Contacts
  • View and Organize Contacts
  • Create a New Contact Group


5) Overview of Office 365 Web Apps and Mobile Apps

  • Creating, Editing, Saving, and Sharing Documents with Mobile Office
  • Discuss Labs that Ferris will conduct to set up devices


6) Lync Conference Calls

  • Signing Into Lync
  • Navigate the Lync Interface
  • Performing Basic Lync Functions
  • Using Lync Across Platforms
  • Scheduling Lync Meetings/Appointments
  • Sending/Responding to a Lync Message
  • Making Video Calls
