Setting up your challenge questions

To use the password assistance tool to change your password, you must first set up your challenge questions.  To do this follow the instructions below:

Visit https://pwdsetup.ferris.edu
                 or
Log in to MyFSU, and go to the AD Password Status Channel on the MyFSU tab and click on the Setup Your AD Challenge Questions

A pop-up box will come up for you to log in with your current Active Directory user name and password. If you do not know it you will need to call the TAC at 231-591-4822 to have it reset in order to continue.

NOTE: You will need to type "ferris_ad\" before your user name each time the password assistance system asks you for your user name.

Once you are logged in the following screen will appear:

 Click Next

Click on "Next" to continue.

Type in your password again at this next screen:

 Login Again


Answer at least 3 of the questions on this screen and select "Next":

You are now done setting up your challenge questions:
