Why does the ZENWorks Configuration Management (CM) window appear after I log in to Active Directory?

The ZENWorks CM window will appear if your Active Directory password and MyFSU/Novell password are not the same. You have three options:

  1. Select Cancel to continue logging in to the computer. NOTE: You will continue to get this box every time you log in.
  2. Type in your MyFSU/Novell password and select OK. NOTE: You will continue to get this box every time you log in.
  3. Do option 1 or 2 above, but once you get logged in change your MyFSU/Novell password so it is the same as your Active Directory password. Once this is done you will not see the ZENworks CM box again until your passwords are out of synch.

How do I make sure my Active Directory password and MyFSU/Novell password are the same?

  1. Log in to MyFSU
  2. On the MyFSU tab in the MyFSU Password Status channel find “To change your password now click here.” Select click here.MyFSU Password Status
  3. Log in to Virtual Office with your MyFSU ID and passwordVoffice login
  4. Click on the lock icon at the top of the screenVO password change
  5. Follow the instructions to change your MyFSU/Novell password so it matches your Active Directory passwordVO password change dialog
