Resetting your Active Directory password

Anytime you need to change your Active Directory password, you may go to one of three places:


When you arrive at, you will be prompted for your user id. Be sure to insert "ferris_ad\" in front of your id or "@ferris.local" after your id.

Enter Username



After clicking "Next," you will be brought to a page to answer two of your challenge questions. You must answer both correctly to reset your password.


Challenge Questions


After clicking "Next" once again, you will now be allowed to choose a new password. Remember, this password must have at least 8 characters which contain an upper case, lower case, and a numerical value.

New Password

Once you click "Next," you should receive the following page.
