Deleting Printers On Windows XP

When you log in to Active Directory, you will see a list of printers that have been assigned to your workstation. These printers will end in "FSUPS1." If you have been employed at the University for a while, you may still have printers installed on your computer from the iPrint server. These printers will end in "" You will want to delete these printers.

  1. Click Start in the bottom-left of your desktop.
  2. Click the Printers and Faxes icon located in the Start menu.StartMenuWinXp
  3. Right click on the printer you want to delete.
  4. Click Delete.
  5. Click Yes when asked, "Are you sure you want to delete the printer?"
