Fees and Expenses

What, if any, technology fee is charged by the campus? What does it cover?

There are not currently any technology fees paid in tuition; however, Student Technology Services (STS) provides several services that have a cost associated with them. Students can bring their computers into STS for repairs for a cost. Students can also purchase hardware and software from STS at a discounted rate. Fees will be charged to the student account. A student does not need a credit/debit card. 


Will you be required to purchase your own computer equipment and software?

Specific colleges may require students to purchase a PC. However, the university does not have any policies requiring students to purchase computers. We have public computer access to aid students in their computing needs.


Does the campus make computing and network access financially accessible? Is special student pricing offered for computers and peripheral equipment?

Wireless access is provided free of charge all across campus. The only areas that wireless is not available are in the residence halls, where a network port is provided. If you have more than one person that needs to access the port in the residence halls or if you prefer wireless, you can purchase network equipment from Student Technology Services (STS).
