Telecommunications is in the process of switching service to telephones over to the new telephone PBX switch in Rankin Center. The following buildings and services will be switched over during the Christmas recess beginning Thursday morning, December 27 starting at 7 AM: 

Center for Student Services 
Prakken Building 
Alumni Building 
West Building 
Automotive Building 
Granger Building 
Power Plant 
All contact centers including Communications Center, Financial Aid, Optometry Clinic, and TAC 

You may wish to notify specific individuals or departments within each building that this will occur and to check their phones and voice mail service when they return to campus and let us know if any problems are perceived. Call Telecomm at x2901 if so. 

If users are unable to access their voice mail from off campus by dialing 591-5005, call 591-5010 until the telephone transition is complete in February 2013. On campus access to voice mail is still x5005. 

Please pass this note on to anyone who may be affected by the switch-over and have been overlooked in this notification.
