Getting to an Express Bus Stop
The Express Bus service only provides transportation between the route's five stops (Rapid Central Station, KCAD stop at the corner of Ionia/Monroe, Cedar Springs Meijer, Bond Circle and the Science Building at Ferris' Big Rapids campus). Riders are responsible for traveling to Express Bus departure points and from Express Bus arrival points to final destinations. For example, a rider who wishes to use Express Bus service from Grand Rapids to Big Rapids is responsible for traveling from home to the departure point at The Rapid Central Station, from the arrival point at the Science Building to his or her class location on campus, back from that location to the departure point at the Science Building, and then from The Rapid Central Station back to his/her/their home.
Riders are encouraged to visit The Rapid website for information pertaining to fares, routes and maps, nearest stops, trip planning, and rider alerts. The trip planning page allows riders to enter address information for their points of origin and destination, for which the site will return suggested detailed route information, including walking or riding times. The riding route detail includes bus identification and stop location.
