Career Cruising
Career Cruising, is an informal career assessment option. Career Cruising provides a short evaluation
of interests combined with an extensive resource of occupational information. It gives
you a chance to examine possible career options, get detailed information including
a job description, working conditions, earning potential, educational needs, career
paths, as well as interviews with people working in the field and their experience
in that occupation. The results can be printed from your computer and our licensed professional counselors are available to assist you with reviewing the results.
To learn more about this service, contact us through e-mail at ecds@ferris.edu or call 1-800-FERRIS (1-800-433-7747) and ask for ext. 3057. You will be referred
to a counselor who will discuss your request with you and give you instructions for
completing the assessment. You will need to make a follow-up appointment to discuss
the results with a counselor.
This service is offered to FSU students at no cost.
After you have spoken with a counselor in the Educational Counseling and Disabilities
Services department and obtained the passwords, you may proceed to career cruising.
