Deedee Stakley is a positive, informed, and generous representative of the University to many of its stakeholders. In sharing her expertise on best practices and innovations at the state and national levels, she has made Ferris a recognized leader in transfer services and has a reputation for getting things done.
Stakley's highly effective collaboration with a diverse array of partners has created exceptional opportunities for both the University and its students. In addition to the many partnerships that she has helped forge for the University, her personal commitment as a long-time volunteer for the Children's Leukemia Foundation, Make-a-Wish, and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Societies has helped make a profound difference in the lives of others.
Deedee oversees the efforts of the Academic Support Center, Developmental Curriculum Department, Educational Counseling and Disabilities Services, Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning (FCTL), Honors Program, Media Production, SCHOLAR Peer Mentor Program, Structured Learning Assistance, Tuition Incentive Program (TIP), Office of Transfer and Secondary School Partnerships, and the Ferris State University Seminar (FSUS) course.
