Are you looking for the right program to prepare you for a career in Graphic Communications,
Printing, Digital Graphic Imaging, or New Media? Then the Ferris Printing and Imaging
Technology Management program is perfect for you. The courses are taught by industry-trained
professionals in a state-of-the-art environment. All labs are extensively hands-on
and students get to learn by doing along with the theory behind it. Students learn
the basics of the entire print offset process, along with management styles and theories
of print production.
The program offers three degrees: Associate in Printing and Digital Imaging Technology,
a Bachelors degree in Printing Management, and a Bachelors degree in New Media Printing
and Publishing. Students whom complete the associate degree and continue to either
or both bachelors degree. Earning any of the three or combination of them will open
up many career paths for the student.
Students in the Printing and Imaging Technology Management department can also join
the Graphic Arts Association, one of the most active student organizations on campus. This organization provides
students with networking opportunities for students with print companies and with
