Printing and New Media Faculty Directory
Ferris's Printing and Imaging Technology Management department has some of the best
instructors with high-levels of knowledge from all aspects of the print industry.
Each of the eight faculty members work closely with students as instructors, advisors,
and mentors.
The faculty have areas of specialization that they teach in both lab and lecture formats.
All the faculty has industry experience along with edcuation backgrounds in printing
or educational fields.
The faculty are active in Graphic Arts Association and other organizations on campus.
They work closely with students to advise and mentor them in completing their college
requirements. All faculty are concerned with student views and are their assist them
in and out of class.
Classes in the Printing and Imaging Technology Management program are small, with
an average size of 20 students. This gives faculty more one-on-one contact with students.
Also with the small class sizes, students can learn to operate more equipment, learn
more software, and understand theory by practicing it. The department and faculty
teach in a hands-on enviroment along with textbook theory.
