Ferris State University is all about choices. We make it easy for you to work towards
the degree and career you want. If it is a two-year associate degree or a four-year
bachelor degree you want. The Printing and Imaging Technology Management Department
has it.
All four-year bachelor degree options start with the associate degree in Printing and Digital Graphic Imaging (PDGI). When you are working on your Associate of Applied Science degree in Printing and Digital Graphic Imaging Technology at Ferris State University, you will spend more than 90 hours in the laboratories for each lab course. Our nine laboratories are housed in a modern 22,000 square foot facility.
Once you have completed our two year associate degree you may start working towards one of our two bachelor degrees, either Printing Management or New Media Printing and Publishing. You may even want to consider earning a Bachelors Degree in Career and Technical Education from Ferris State University's College of Education and Human Services to become a certified Graphic Communications teacher. Whatever you choose, your final two years will also be filled with a mix of hands-on laboratory and lecture courses, all taught in Ferris’ tradition of small class sizes.
Students, who have completed an Associates Degree in Graphic Communications, Visual Communications, or Information Systems, from a different accredited school, may be able to transfer directly into one or both of our bachelor degree programs. Please consult the Program Coordinator of the Printing and Imaging Technology Management Program for more details.
