Bart Carrigan is the President of the AGC of Michigan . He has a bachelor s degree from Colgate University in Hamilton, New York, and has done Masters level work at the Graduate School of Syracuse University and the School of Labor and Industrial Relations of Michigan State University.
Glenn Bukoski is Vice President of Engineering Services for the Michigan Infrastructure & Transportation Association (MichiganTA) . Glenn previously served the state of Michigan for 30 years in various professional capacities at the Michigan Department of Transportation, retiring in 2002. A registered Professional Engineer, Glenn received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Michigan State University.
John Doherty is the President/CEO for the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. (ABC) Western Michigan Chapter and has been with the chapter as CSO since July 1971. He has the most seniority with ABC of any current employee in the country. John received a B.B.A. in Marketing and a M.B.A. in Management from Western Michigan University.
Robert L. Filka serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Michigan Association of Home Builders (MAHB), a statewide trade association representing the residential building industry. Filka began his duties in June of 2006. Prior to this appointment he held various economic development and government related positions. He was a Policy Advisor to Governor John Engler and served as President of the Michigan Strategic Fund among other leadership positions. Filka currently Chairs the Habitat for Humanity of Michigan Board of Directors and serves on HomeAid Michigan, the Michigan Virtual University's Board and several other non-profit organizations.
Kevin Koehler is president of the Construction Association of Michigan (CAM), a trade association of over 3,500 commercial contracting, subcontracting and supply firms. He is on the board of directors of CAM-COMP and the Construction Federal Credit Union. He currently serves as the Past President of the International Builders Exchange Executives (IBEE). Kevin earned an A. A. S. in Communications from Henry Ford Community College, and a B.S. with a major in Journalism from Wayne State University.
Michael Smith serves as Vice President of the Associated General Contractors of Michigan (AGC) and serves the industry out of the AGC Detroit Regional Office. He is a director or trustee for several construction focused labor-management groups and serves on the board of numerous community and charitable organizations including a role as advancement trustee for Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan after serving on the governing board for six years. His business background includes the creation of two for-profit entities which he sold after growing the companies into successful enterprises. Smith graduated from the James Madison College at Michigan State University (MSU) and has an Executive MBA awarded by the Advanced Management Program at MSU.
Lee Templin, P.E., FSU Associate professor and a registered Professional Engineer, teaches or has taught courses in Construction Scheduling, Computer Techniques in Construction, Construction Administration, Field Engineering, and Constructing Estimating. He worked in the Michigan Construction industry for eleven years in the Detroit and Flint area with firms specializing in industrial, commercial, and institutional constructing. Professor has a B.S. in Civil Engineering (Construction) and an M.S. in Engineering (Construction Engineering and Management), both from the University of Michigan.
