In addition to teaching in the pharmacy curriculum, Dr Kierstan Hanson has a practice
site in Grand Rapids, MI where she precepts fourth year pharmacy students during their
clinical rotation in ambulatory care at Spectrum Health Family Medicine Residency
Center. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota and
her doctorate of pharmacy from the University of Iowa. She completed a one year post-graduate
residency at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in South Bend, IN. Her passion
is helping the underserved and she has participated with several international pharmacy
outreach programs.
