Registration as a Pharmacist
State and Federal laws
regulate the practice of pharmacy as a profession. Michigan laws
are administered by the Michigan Board of Pharmacy. Requirements
for registration as a pharmacist include:
- Graduation from an ACPE accredited college of pharmacy.
- Age of 21.
- Good moral character.
- Completion of a Board approved pharmacy internship.
- Passage of the North American Pharmacist Licensure Exam
(NAPLEX) and the Michigan jurisprudence examination.
