Professional Experience:
I served as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for the Genesee County Prosecuting Attorney's Office for over 20 years. The majority of my career was in a supervisory capacity as a Division Chief of various Divisions within the office including Felony Drug Prosecution, the Special Crimes Division, the Pre-Trial and Warrants Division, the Research and Appeals Division, the Felony Gun Prosecution Division, the South Side Task Force and Special Projects.
I have 8 years of college teaching experience through Ferris State University; first as an Adjunct Professor and then becoming an Associate Professor in the Fall of 2011. My areas of specialization included Criminal Law and Procedure, with a particular emphasis on Search and Seizure.
Activities include attending and participating in, with my wife Teresa, a broad and varied amount of activities that all our children are involved in; including track and field, horse demonstration, dance, gymnastics, soccer, baseball and the like.
