Judith began tutoring at the Writing Center while it was still part of an experimental National Endowment for the Humanities grant in 1978. For more than a decade, she led weekly grammar workshops for the Department of Languages and Literature. Judith has also published two articles on grammar in the professional journal, Syntax in the Schools. Besides tutoring, she continues to provide university-wide workshops on various topics for students and faculty. |

Chris worked as a student tutor at the Writing Center for four years while he was a student at Ferris. He graduated in 2008 with a degree in English and history education. He has been working as a paraprofessional in the Writing Center for two years, and is currently working towards a degree in social studies education. |

Susan holds a degree in Communication Management from Michigan State University and has worked in advertising, corporate communication and marketing management. Prior to joining the Writing Center in the fall of 2002, she was a freelance writer on both the East and West Coasts. She has edited faculty journal articles, conducted writing and grammar workshops, and taught English as a second language. Susan particularly enjoys working with international students to help them improve their writing abilities. |
