The Department of Languages and Literature established Alpha Xi Kappa, a chapter of Sigma Tau Delta in spring of 2007.
To be eligible for membership in the society, students must be sophomores, have an overall grade point average of B, must be enrolled at a college or a university, and be majoring or minoring in the discipline of English.
