Caroline Stern teaches courses and workshops in composition, instructional design, document design, information literacy, and technical/ business communication. Dr. Stern has published, presented, and consulted nationally and internationally on pedagogy practices, interface design, technical/business communication, information literacy, and training-the-trainers. The Michigan Association of Governing Boards has honored her as Teacher of the Year and she is a recipient of Ferris State University’s Distinguished Teacher Award and International Educator Award. Professor Stern is a past member of the American Library Association’s Committee on Accreditation, an expert reviewer for the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), and a recognized UNESCO Information Literacy Expert and Trainer. She has consulted and taught in Ecuador, Jamaica, Mexico, Honduras, Canada, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Slovakia, Finland, India, Egypt, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and Kazakhstan.
