Profile:
Professor Stephanie J. Thomson holds a PhD in Communication with an emphasis in rhetorical studies and organizational communication.   Her research interests include women and political rhetoric, organizational communication, and communication in the classroom.   Her dissertation explored the themes and strategies used in United Farm Workers organizational rhetoric from 1996-2002. She teaches a variety of courses including fundamentals of public speaking, and other communication courses. She also serves on the FSU Academic Senate Arts & Lectures Committee.
