Areas of Teaching / Academic Specialty
I teach in the pre-licensure BSN program, the RN to BSN track, and the MSN program. My specialty area is mental health, but I also teach in multiple areas including courses related to research and theory.
Research / Scholarship
Research
My research interests are learner-centered education and development of affective skills in mental health nursing. I’ve completed two qualitative research studies related to these topics, and am currently working on a follow-up study to determine students’ experience with the learner-centered philosophy.
