Over 1,000 companies match employee gifts to colleges and universities. Some companies match and exceed employee donations by as much as four-to-one. These programs allow companies to support education while emphasizing the interests and preferences of employees. By giving to the institutions that educated their employees, they express appreciation and ensure a continuing supply of well-prepared personnel.
The matching gift, resulting from the efforts of an alumnus or friend of the University, will be given to the donor's designated area unless company matching policies designate otherwise.
