Named to honor the University’s first campus building, Old Main, dedicated in 1894. It established the University as a credible higher-learning institution.
Phoenix Society
Named to honor the Phoenix that rose from the ashes, just as Ferris Institute has grown to become a respected University with many nationally recognized programs.

Named to honor the campus' historic Carillon Tower, built in 1968.
Legacy Society
Named to honor those who leave a lasting legacy and allow Ferris to continue its tradition of excellence.
Helen Gillespie Ferris Society
Named to honor the wife of Woodbridge N. Ferris and her commitment to education and the founding of Big Rapids Industrial School.
Woodbridge N. Ferris Society
Named to honor the University's founder, recognizing his belief that all people deserve the opportunity to succeed.
Abigail Smith Timme Society
Named to honor alumna and University benefactor Abigail Smith Timme.
*Crimson & Gold Society is available to Ferris State University graduates who have been out of school for less than five years.

**Abigail Smith Timme Society is a planned giving society, available to those who wish to give a gift of $35,000 or more through a will, bequest, trust, etc.
