Chapter 30: Montgomery G.I. Bill

Chapter 31: Vocational Rehabilitation

Vocational Rehabilitation you must have a service connected disability. Visit the Department of Veterans Affairs at www.benefits.va.gov/vocrehab.

Chapter 33: Post 9/11 G.I. Bill (Effective 8/1/2009)

You may be eligible if you served at least 90 aggregate days on active duty after September 10, 2001. Visit the Department of Veterans Affairs at http://www.benefits.va.gov/gibill/post911_gibill.asp.

Note: Once you elect to receive benefits under the Post 9/11 G.I. Bill, you will no longer be eligible to receive benefits under the program from which you elect the Post-9/11 G.I. Bill.

Chapter 35: Survivors' and Dependents Educational Assistance Program

Chapter 1606: Montgomery G.I. Bill – Selected Reserve

A selected reservists must be enlisted, reenlist or extend and enlistment obligation in the selected reserve so that the reservist has/had an enlistment obligation to serve for a period of not less than 6 years following the date of such action, and this must be completed on or after July 1, 1985. Visit the Department of Veterans Affairs at http://www.benefits.va.gov/gibill/mgib_sr.asp.

Chapter 1607: Montgomery G.I. Bill – Selected Reserve
