Alumni Association Legacy Scholarship    Back to top

Students wishing to apply for this scholarship must:

  1. Be the child, sibling or grandchild of a Ferris Alumna(us).
  2. Have a 2.75 cumulative Grade Point Average at the end of fall semester.
  3. Have completed a minimum of two full-time semesters. Please note:
    • Students seeking an associate degree must have completed 30 hours at the end of spring semester. 

OR

    • Students seeking a bachelor's degree must have completed 56 hours at the end of spring semester. 

*Preference will be given to students in their final year at FSU.

The award amount is approximately $1,000 per year and is non-renewable.

Alumni Board Scholarship (COEHS)    Back to top

Applicants must be current full-time College of Education and Human Services students with a minimum cumulative FSU grade point average of 2.00 in an undergraduate program or a minimum of 3.00 in a graduate program.

Students wishing to apply for this scholarship must be a full–time student enrolled at Ferris State University in any degree granting program, with a cumulative GPA of 3.5. Student must also have attained sophomore status or higher. Recipients of the President’s, Founder’s, or Dean’s Scholarships are not eligible for this scholarship.

The award amount is approximately $500 and is non–renewable.

Canadian Lakes Scholarship for Mecosta County

This scholarship will be awarded to a full-time undergraduate student residing in Mecosta County. Applicant must not be eligible for any of the Woodbridge N. Ferris Scholarships. Candidates will have demonstrated financial need as determined by the University's Office of Scholarships & Financial Aid.

Students wishing to apply for this scholarship are required to complete a FAFSA, have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5, and be enrolled full–time in an undergraduate program. Must have graduated from one of the following schools: Consortium College Preparatory High School, Allen Academy (both in Detroit, MI), Creative Technologies Academy (Cedar Springs, MI), Hope Academy of West Michigan, Lighthouse Academy (both in Kentwood, MI), Michigan Collegiate High School, (formerly Connor Creek in Roseville, MI), Clara B. Ford Academy (Dearborn Hts., MI), Michigan Connections Academy-Cyber School (Okemos, MI), and Marshall Academy (Marshall, MI).

The purpose of the Daudi Book Scholarship is to help students who need assistance with books. To be considered for this scholarship, a student must:

To be eligible, a candidate for this scholarship must be a fully matriculated student in good standing at Ferris State University and if a freshman or sophomore, enrolled in a Bachelor of Science program leading to a degree in accountancy, or if a junior or senior, enrolled in the Accounting program. Students enrolled in the Masters in Accountancy program may also be eligible for the award if they were recipients of the scholarship as an undergraduate. Strong consideration will be given to students whose grade point average is 2.4 or better.

Mecosta County Medical Center Auxiliary Scholarship   Back to top

To apply for this scholarship, applicant must be enrolled in any program in the College of Health Professions. Applicant must also be a high school graduate from a school within the Mecosta-Osceola School District, such as Crossroads Charter Academy, Big Rapids, Chippewa Hills, Evart, Morley-Stanwood, and Reed City public schools. A minimum GPA of 3.0 must be held at the time of application. For incoming Freshmen, proof of GPA will be provided through official transcripts.

An applicant must be a member of the West Michigan Credit Union or be the child of a member. Applicants for the scholarship shall have earned a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above and attained sophomore status (26 credit hours) or higher at the time of receiving the scholarship. Recipients of the President’s, Founder’s or Dean’s Scholarships are not eligible for the West Michigan Credit Union Scholarship.
